Dress Code
The bride and groom politely request that guests follow a formal dress code. For the women this includes dresses or blouses and dress slacks. For the men this includes dress slacks and a buttoned/collared shirt. Suit jackets and ties are optional but encouraged!

What if I need to change my RSVP form?
If you need to make changes to your RSVP form please reach out directly to the bride or groom, we would be more than happy to assist. Please note that no changes will be permitted beyond July 13, 2026.
Am I allowed to bring people not listed on my RSVP/Invitation?
We politely ask that only the people explicitly listed on your wedding invite join you at the event. Unfortunately, due to space constraints, the venue will only allow for the number of people we have invited.
When should I RSVP by?
All RSVP forms must be submitted by July 13, 2026. Invitation codes will be come inactive and submission of your RSVP form will not be possible after July 13, 2026.
Have you reserved or blocked rooms at a local hotel?
We do not have any reservations or hotel blocks for guests. If lodging is required you may refer to our lodging and travel page for recommendations of local hotels.
What is the best airport to fly into?
Depending on your flexibility and booking of travel, the best airports to fly into would include Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO), or Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). All airports have rental car facilities either at the airport or near by. Please refer to our travel and lodging page for more information.
When is the best time to arrive at the venue?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM and will be held at the Little Tree. Guest transportation from the guest parking lot to the Little Tree will be provided via wagon (golf carts will be made available to those with accessibility requirements). Transportation will be made available up to one hour before the start of the ceremony and continue up to one hour after the end of the ceremony. To ensure all guests make it to the ceremony on time, we politely ask that you show up as early as 3:00 PM but no later than 3:30 PM. If you arrive late, you will not be granted transportation to the ceremony in order to prevent disrupting the couple or their other guests during the ceremony.
Is parking provided?
Yes, Summerfield Farms does have parking. When you arrive, parking attendants should be on duty to guide you to the parking lot. Please be respectful of the property. All parking on grass outside of the designated parking spot is strictly prohibited.
Is your ceremony indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony is planned for outside at the Little Tree, however arrangements will be made for an indoor ceremony if weather does not permit the outdoor ceremony. Please note that North Carolina can be hot in September but most of the ceremony site will be covered in shade. Personal paper fans will be made available to all guests.
Is there a general itinerary for the wedding day?

Transportation to the Cocktail Hour: 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Will there be alcohol at this event?
Yes. Alcohol will be provided and paid for at this event.

Can I post photos from the wedding on social media?
Guests may post there own photos of the cocktail hour and reception, however we ask that no phones are out during the ceremony. We have our own photographers and videographers and that content will be posted on this website after the event and will be made available to those who want to see them. Once again, we kindly ask that no phones are used during the ceremony as they will only impede our photographers and videographers. (The groom will not hesitate to call you out on this.)
